Finland beats century old temperature record

The previous temperature record for Finland was 35,9 degrees C, in July 1914.

Today 29.7.2010 the Joensuu airport weather observation station recorded 37,2 degrees.

Huh, I thought the worst of the heat was over. Sweden has had pretty bad weather for a week or two now, the last few days it's even been raining a lot.

Air is way more moist in skandinavian countries so feels +10-15 degrees more than it is. You felt it when it was 22 degrees here in Denmark, it was kinda warm.

imagine it raining cats dogs and hippos and feeling like 50 degrees at least arab heat is dry. (which mind you is stifling)

But seemingly there are not many countries that experience around 65-70 degrees celsius change in their climate, which has happened here in Finland this year.
