As the new content is over untill start of january after first night, We would like to use this time to give a shout-out to the chance of applying to Showdown before the harder parts of Icecrown Citadel are released and to experience it together with like-minded people.
We are always looking for extremely skilled players who can challenge our current members of all classes. However we are extra open to
1 Holy Paladin,
1 Holy/Disc Priest 1 Resto Shaman and possibly a
Boomkin druid.
About us!We are a relatively old guild which has excisted since the start of the Burning Crusade formed from the remnants of two other guilds, Kapow and Synergy in Vanilla. However we have evolved alot since then and our goal is to do as good as our abilities allow us in new content as it gets released.
We have always managed to clear content at a more than reasonable pace, even if we as most other guilds have had our share of problems along the way, and complete all content before the next is released,Tribute to Insanity(pre3.3), Yogg0(pre3.2), GotUR (pre3.2), GotR(pre3.1), Kil'jaeden 47th, Felmyst 6th worldwide, and M'uru(prenerf).
We consist of a broad spectrum of people with various backgrounds around europe. One thing we all have in common is, that we want to play with like-minded and professional people, without hurting the fun of raiding. We all play this game because we think it's fun.
Most of us also enjoy raiding with our alts, and we also use them for gearing up our mains faster/for progress, and also to ensure that everyone gets a fair chance at raiding every week without missing a whole reset just because you had to sit out for one raid.
Even though we could just use 1-2 days a week to clear the content on our mains we choose to fill up 5/5 with other things, like Colli25hc with alts, 10man hcs, Ulduar25 Drake Sellruns to add extra benefit from doing Ulduar.
What we are looking for is people who fit or posses the points below:*
Like-minded people that really love this game and want to play with equally skilled people and push it when new content is out, while maintaining their real life.
*
Active people who can keep over 90% attendance.
*
Dedicated people who really want to do their best during raids, which makes you never want to slack on buffs or other raid enhancing things like enchants, flasks, food, pots, gems etc.
*
Basic Social skills, a microphone and to know how to use it.
*
Being able to vocally express your thoughts and ideas as well as adding important inputs during encounters in a short and appropriate way.
*
Understanding of your class/spec and general game mechanics. As much as dps matters, it also matters that you act correctly to situations where your dps is not the main focus. Optimizing your dps without taking chances or being reckless is often better than pushing a little more dps.
